Pricing and terms
Starting prices on the site are not a checkout. Your email quote is the number that matters. A booking is confirmed only when you accept that quote in writing and we receive the deposit listed on it.

One event. One venue. You host. We haul it in, set it up, and pick it up. The numbers below are the defaults. Your quote can extend them. If it is not on the quote, these defaults apply.
A second day, another address, or an extra trip is quoted first. Exceptions are case-by-case and only apply when they are written on the quote.

These Rental Terms (the "Terms") govern event-tech rental and related services from Chungry Events, a registered fictitious business name in Santa Clara County, California, under Chungry Co, also a registered fictitious business name ("Chungry Events," "we," "us"). The person who inquires or confirms a booking ("you," "Host") agrees to these Terms.
An inquiry on this website is a request for availability and a quote. It does not reserve a date and does not create a paid booking. We talk through the event, then send a written quote (the purchase order for that date). A booking is formed only when (a) you accept that quote in writing (email is enough), and (b) we receive the deposit stated on it. The binding contract is the accepted quote plus these Terms. Marketing copy on the website is not a quote for a specific date.
If a signed quote, invoice, or email confirmation conflicts with these Terms, the written quote or confirmation controls for price, kit, date, hours, windows, and deposit. These Terms control for everything else.
Package rates are Park Party $179 and Ultimate Park Party $299 per event day for the listed South Bay cities. An event day includes 8 hours of event use. Additional event hours are $25 per hour, billed in whole hours, unless the quote includes those hours at no charge. First rental on Park Party is $143 (20% off, first rental only, after opt-in). Delivery and setup are free in those cities. Add-ons include karaoke $75, Starlink Mini event Wi-Fi $75, digital photo booth $99, and DJ deck +$75 with Park Party or +$50 with Ultimate Park Party. A la carte treats (slushi, cotton candy) and other extras are quoted from what you pick. Your exact total depends on date, kit, location, hours, and any extras we agree to in writing.
Discounts (including first-booking and returning-host offers) apply only as stated when you book, do not stack, and are confirmed on the quote.
Unless the quote says otherwise, the rental is for one event at one venue: 8 hours of event use, plus setup and pickup. Additional event hours are $25 per hour, billed in whole hours. Complimentary extra hours, later windows, or other exceptions apply only if they are written on the accepted quote.
Setup occurs in a scheduled 60-minute arrival window. We are typically on site 45 to 90 minutes for delivery, setup, testing, and a walkthrough. Same-day pickup is scheduled to be completed by 9:00pm. Overnight hold until a morning pickup between 8:00am and 11:00am is included as a pickup option after the event has ended. Overnight hold is not extra event hours. Event use past 8 hours is billed at $25 per hour until pickup, unless the quote says otherwise. We do not offer unscheduled midnight pickups.
You (or a responsible adult you name) must be on site for delivery and pickup, with reasonable vehicle and path access. If we cannot access the site during the agreed window, we may treat the attempt as a completed trip. A second event day, a second address, extra trip, or travel outside the listed cities are quoted first.
Included when listed on your quote: the named equipment, free delivery, setup, a walkthrough, pickup, and ordinary South Bay travel in the cities named above.

We do not rent tents, chairs, or tables. Starlink and other connectivity are provided as-is for typical event use. Speeds, uptime, and the number of connected devices are not guaranteed. Trees, weather, congestion, sky visibility, and site conditions can affect service. Karaoke and the digital photo booth share one iPad Pro. Wanting both at the same event requires confirmation and is not promised automatically. DJ deck rental is customer-operated equipment. It does not include professional DJ service, software, music libraries, streaming subscriptions, or a laptop unless those are written on your quote.
You agree that you are 18 or older, and that you will:
You are solely responsible for your event, your guests, noise, neighbor complaints, and compliance with law. Chungry Events does not sell or serve alcohol, drink mix, sugar, or food. If alcohol is present, you are the host of record.
We deliver equipment in working order and will demonstrate it at setup. After you (or your on-site adult) accept the setup, the kit is in your care until we pick it up.
If equipment we provided stops working through no fault of yours, tell us as soon as you can. We will repair it, replace it, or substitute comparable gear. If we cannot do that in time, we refund the affected portion of the quote, or the full amount paid for that booking if the event cannot reasonably go on. That is your exclusive remedy for our equipment failing.
You are responsible for loss, theft, and damage beyond ordinary wear from proper use, including staining, broken parts, missing pieces, water damage, and damage from moving or misusing the kit. If that happens, you agree to pay reasonable repair cost, or replacement at then-current retail if repair is not practical, plus any extra trip we have to make. We will tell you the amount in writing.
Do not leave the kit unattended in a public park or unlocked area overnight unless we agreed to that plan in writing.
Outdoor events depend on the site. Light rain under cover is often fine. We may delay, shorten, or cancel delivery or pickup if conditions are unsafe (including high wind, lightning, flooding, fire, or a closed park).
If we cancel for safety or because our equipment fails and we cannot replace it in time, you may reschedule to an open date or receive a refund of amounts paid for that booking. If you cancel for weather and we can still safely deliver as planned, the cancellation rules in section 9 apply, unless we agree in writing to reschedule.
Nothing is charged to send an inquiry. The quote states the total, the deposit, and how to pay. We do not run a card from this website. The deposit holds the date and is applied to the total. The remaining balance is due before we leave for delivery. If the balance is not received, we may decline to deliver and keep the deposit.

Date or venue changes are subject to availability. Extra travel or extra trips are quoted first. Offers and promo codes are confirmed on the quote and are not a separate cash value if you cancel.
DJ deck rental is equipment only. You or a guest operate it. Professional DJ service is not included with the deck. DJ for hire is a separate hourly service, available on request if we can do it. Hours, minimum, travel, and the DJ for that booking are stated on the quote. Overtime, if offered, is quoted or agreed in writing. DJ for hire does not include a full band, MC script, or licensed music beyond what the DJ provides in the ordinary course of the set.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chungry Events and Chungry Co are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost photos, lost data, or the cost of a substitute event, even if advised that such damages were possible.
Our total liability arising out of a booking is limited to the amounts you actually paid us for that booking. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under California law, and it does not excuse our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Equipment is for event use as demonstrated. We are not responsible for injury or property damage caused by misuse, unsupervised guests, alcohol, site conditions, or your failure to follow the walkthrough or these Terms.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chungry Events and Chungry Co from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your event, your guests, alcohol service, permits, site conditions, or use of the equipment, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We may email you about your inquiry, quote, and booking. Opt-in messages for discounts follow the notice on that form. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime. Booking messages about a confirmed date may still be sent as needed to complete the rental.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state courts in Santa Clara County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not assign a booking without our written consent. We may assign a booking to coverage we arrange. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, plus the accepted quote and confirmation emails, are the entire agreement for that booking.
We may update these Terms on this page. The version in effect when you accept a quote applies to that booking. Questions: contact@chungryevents.com.
